Rhophylac® is an anti-D immunoglobulin (anti-D), indicated to raise platelet counts in RhO(D)-positive, non-splenectomized adult patients with chronic Immune (Idiopathic) Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP).
Dosage & Administration…
This information is for intravenous administration only (for treatment of ITP, Rhophylac® must be used intravenously):
- Recommended dosage – 250 IU (50 mcg) per kg body weight
- Rate of administration – 2 to 8 mL per minute
- Dose calculation – Dose (IU) x body weight (kg) = Total
IU/1500 IU per syringe = Number of syringes
